Sucrose benzoate

Product Information

Molecular Formula:
C12H22O11.xC7H6O2
Description
Sucrose benzoate is used as a plasticizer in solid inks, solid coatings, thermosetting powder coatings, and heat printing toner. It also serves as a pigment carrier for liquid inks, particularly in heat printing inks, where it helps prevent wash-off and improves the ink's viscosity, water solubility, dispersion, and emulsification. Additionally, sucrose benzoate is an essential component in heat transfer and magnetic heat transfer recording media to improve thermal sensitivity stability.
